The Calgary Polocrosse Club was originally formed in 2001, and since then has formed three separate branches: Foothills Polocrosse Club, Millarville Polocrosse Club and the Polocrosse Calgary. Together, the clubs make up Polocrosse Canada.

Polocrosse Calgary currently makes it's home at Zeus Acres, an 140 acre haven just west of the City of Calgary, still within city limits. Our home field is located within Glenmore city park in south west Calgary near Glenmore Reservoir.

We have really jumped into play for the 2008 season. First off we would like to welcome Anna McLeish of NSW Australia to the Polocrosse Calgary family. I believe everyone has met her at a practice out on the field or just at Zues Acres. We have been fortunate enough to have had several club events already at which a good time was had by all.

Several club members went up to The Mane Event in Red Deer as well as play during the past weekend both Saturday and Sunday. I believe a great time was had by all and there was some great play between Australia and New Zealand! We'd also like to welcom Todd Goodley back to Canada and Polocrosse. Many fingers suffered his return to the field!

The first game of the season also welcomed the first couple cases of beer with 2 members making involuntary dismounts. We would like to welcome both Evan and Anna to this elite group of "flying" riders. You know that the whole club is always excited to reap the benefits of these great dismounts!

Due to upcoming events our next organized game on the field is not until May 31. We will still have play over there, just with as many people as usual...With our website under construction our calendar will be updated straight away showing play at our field as well as others so stay tuned.
